Wilson Rogers Palmer

Wilson Rogers Palmer, age 77, born in Chatom, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Mobile Infirmary. He was a retired chemical operator at Ciba-Geigy Chemical Company.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Richerson Palmer of Bay Minette, AL; one son, Darryl Wilson (Melissa) Palmer of Chunchula, AL; one daughter, Lisa Palmer (Bryan) Creps of Bay Minette, AL; five brothers, Willie Paul (Jackie) Palmer of Chatom, AL, Kenneth (Linda) Palmer of Chatom, AL, Stanley Palmer of Yellow Pine, AL, Danny Palmer of Mobile, AL and Joey Palmer of Mobile, AL; four sisters, Sharon Palmer (Randy) Sikes of Chatom, AL, Glenda Palmer (Donnie) Blackmon of Bay Minette, AL, Tonya Palmer (Wayne) Mosley of Stapleton, AL and Sherri Palmer (James) Dees of Chatom, AL; four grandchildren, Kortni (Sammy) Gill, Aaron (Julia) Creps, Melody (James) Greathouse and Mandalyn Palmer; two great grandchildren, Wendy Grayson Creps and Reba Joe Gill and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosco and Pearline West Palmer; two brothers, Ronald Palmer and Charles Palmer and a sister, Lanelle Beech.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Paul officiating. Burial will follow at New Life Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at New Life Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Adam Scarborough, Nic Gray, Wade Richerson, Bobby Campbell, John Bohannon and Brian Aaron.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to New Life Baptist Church, 49535 Rabun Road, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
