Willie Mae Ganey Hinson, born in Stockton Al and a resident of Bay Minette went home to be with the Lord on April 7,2026
She passed this life peacefully at her residence with her devoted son at her side and surrounded by her family’s love. She was a proud Registered nurse for 38 years and then owned and operated a home daycare “Willo’s House” where she poured her love and compassion into many children for 12 years.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Ralph L. Anglin, Sr., second husband, Arthur “Joe” Hinson, parents CA “Buddy” Ganey and Ruby Ganey and sister Debra Jean Thompson.
She is survived by her two children, Ralph Anglin, Jr “Ty” and Kathryn Lyles “Kat”, Three grandchildren, Katen Lyles, John Paul Lyles and Caroline Lyles. One great granddaughter, Alyssa Wilson and a future great grandson Preston Reed Brannon.
This wonderful lady was the oldest of 10 loving children, earning her the title “Sister” and is survived by Barbara Hammond (Don), Barnwell Al. ,Wayne Ganey(Gwen), White House Fork Al, Patricia “Patti” Rider, White House Fork Al, Michael Ganey(Melody), Perdido Al, Bill Ganey, Ozark Al, Elizabeth “Libby” Nall, Bay Minette Al, Tina Turner(Wayne), Perdido Al, Nancy Broughton(Mitchell) Daphne Al.
There will be no formal service and the family asks for your thoughts and prayers as they navigate their grief and celebrate the life of an amazing woman, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. To her, family was EVERYTHING. To those of you that she touched your lives we ask that you honor and remember her heart and pass that love and kindness forward.
Our family cannot express enough love and gratitude to Springhill Hospice, Tabitha Geck and Lillie Bryars your care, compassion and guidance was a huge blessing at our most vulnerable
