Wayne Walton

Wayne Walton, age 73, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of the Pine Grove Community died Saturday, February 6, 2021. He was a mechanic and truck driver for the Baldwin County Highway Department. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Byrd Walton of Pine Grove; his children, Julie Walton (Brian) Seals of Stockton, AL, Wesley Walton of Pine Grove and William Walton of Mobile, AL; three sisters, Joan Hastings of Bay Minette, AL, Joanne (Johnny) Sanders of Bay Minette, AL and Joyce Little of Bay Minette, AL and two grandchildren, Brady Seals and Kinsey Seals.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Albert and Minnie Elisabeth Norton Walton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Daniel and Reverend Ben Ragsdale officiating. Burial will follow at Stockton Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial contributions be made to City Hope Kingdom Builders Fund, 10063 Rockwell School Dr., Daphne, AL 36526.

Pallbearers will be Eric Hastings, Albert Hastings, Tommy Byrd, Jeremy Byrd, Kenneth Mitchem and Travis Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be Gill Hastings and Less Girby.
