Wayne Burt

Walter Wayne Burt, age 81, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at his residence. He was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his children, Richard Wayne Burt, Addie Melissa (Jay) Roberts, Brian Wendell (Blair) Burt and Rex (Faye) Phillips all of Bay Minette, AL; one brother, Clinton Burt of Bay Minette, AL and fifteen grandchildren, John Abram Burt, Dalton Patterson, Erin James, Jarrett Roberts, Landon Roberts, Kara Roberts, Jacob Burt, Indiana Burt, Peyton Yancey, Alex Myer, JoJo Myer, Natasha Clark, Blake Bossard, Jessica Barton and Madaline Corey and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Hill and Willie Bell Salter Burt; his wife, Christine Marie “Tina” Christenson Burt; and two brothers, Calvin “C Buddy” Burt and Hill Burt.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 5, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jarrett Roberts, Jacob Roberts, Jimmy Burt, John Burt, Jay Roberts and Landon Roberts.
