Voncile (Morris) Ganey

Voncile Morris Ganey, age 85, born in Atmore, AL, and resident of Stockton, AL  passed on to her eternal home with the Lord on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at her residence.  She retired from Vanity Fair, Atmore, AL.

Mrs. Ganey is survived by; her children, Pamela (Michael) Hyatt of Stockton, AL, Keith (Trisha) Ganey of Biloxi, MS and Karen (Clay) Dyess of Stockton, AL; seven grandchildren; Michael (Alicia) Hyatt, Nicholas (Miranda) Hyatt, Aaron (Molly) Hyatt, Cole (Mackenzie) Ganey), Cade Ganey, Ashton Blankenship, Clayton Dyess; thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Silas Ganey Jr.; her parents, Claude and Alvie Morris; and her sisters, Carolyn Davis (Harold), Jeanette Stewart (Iria), and Claudia Jean Dawson (Bill).

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024, and funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Bay Minette, Alabama, with Dr. Chip Starnes and Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Lottie Methodist Church Cemetery in Lottie, Alabama.

Her pallbearers are her beloved grandsons, Michael Lynn Hyatt, Nicholas Hyatt, Aaron Hyatt, Clayton Dyess, Cole Ganey, and Cade Ganey.
