Tony Davis, age 79, a resident of Bay Minette, AL passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, June 10, 2024.
Born a country boy in Fairhope, Alabama he started his life fishing Mobile Bay with his wife by his side. He rose in career as a superintendent for Brown and Root Construction, ending with co-owning Davis and Davis Construction with his son Brett Davis, then retired in Bay Minette spending his days hunting his land and fishing his pond, when he wasn't on the road traveling the United States as far as Alaska and back to Florida taking the entire family to Disney World. He had a voice like thunder and a step that moved mountains. There was no other man like Tony Davis. His love for hunting and fishing was above and beyond as you could tell by the walls of his home. But he was most devoted for over 59 years to his wife Sue Davis, and his pride and joy was his family.
He is survived by his wife Sue Davis of Bay Minette, AL; his daughter Donyale Rawson ( Jeff) of Silverhill, AL; his sisters, Elaine Burke (Tom) of Fairhope, AL and Linda Sindeldecker (Richard ) of Lexington, MI; many half brothers and sisters; daughter-in-law, Kim Davis of Bay Minette, AL; his grandchildren, Brittany Davis Denton (Josh) of Bay Minette, AL, Dyaln Rawson of Tampa, FL Brooke Davis Burroughs (Dustin) of Daphne, AL, Brett “BJ” Davis, Jr (Lindsey) of Bay Minette, AL, Madsion Davis of Bay Minette, AL and Cheyenne Williams of Bay Minette, AL; his great grandchildren, Kris Denton, Malaya Denton, Mia Denton and Baylor Davis and many nieces and nephews from north to south.
