Thomas O'Dell Owens

Thomas O’Dell Owens, age 87, born in Centre, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at his residence. He was a retired road and bridge inspector for the State Highway Department.

He is survived by two brothers, Larry (Mary Ann) Owens and Jerry Owens both of Charleston, SC; five grandchildren, Lena Blount (Mike) Vrazel, Kimber Owens, Joshua (Megan) Owens, Jonathan Ownes and Tyler (Joy) Huffaker and thirteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Owens; his son, Tommy Owens; his daughter, Donna Owens; a grandson, Dillon Huffaker and a brother, Terry Owens.

Graveside services and burial will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Bay Minette Cemetery with Reverend Jason Hughes officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
