Steve Smith Obituary

Steve Darwin Smith, age 68, born in Laurel, Mississippi and a resident of Foley, Alabama died Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a retired construction worker.

He is survived by his son Adam (Jamie) Smith of Bay Minette, Alabama; his daughter Chelsea (Till) Dorgeist of Munich, Germany; and his son Samuel (Katie) Smith of Johnson, Vermont; and four grandchildren, Ansley and Allison Smith of Bay Minette, Alabama and Crew and Malea Dorgeist of Munich, Germany.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Betty Smith of Laurel, Mississippi and his two brothers Paul and Terry Smith of Laurel, Mississippi.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 1-3pm at Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette, Alabama.
