Shirley Jean Adams Day Bush, age 87, born in Cottonwood, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Friday, April 22, 2022 at Oakwood Nursing Home. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Melba Jean Cooper of Bay Minette, AL, Roger Dale (Gayle) Day of Bromley, Ricky Allen (Donna) Day of Baker, FL, Randy Wayne Day of Bay Minette, AL and Deborah Louise (Joey) Vernon of Bay Minette, AL; one brother, Jimmy Adams of MS; four sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Stanford of Fort Worth, TX, Linda Homa of Fairhope, AL, Alice Faye Parr of Birmingham, AL and Barbara Langley of Bay Minette, AL; grandchildren, Shay Key, Josh Day, Cody Day, Kara Adams, Charlie Day, Josh Newton, Megan England, Zackary Day, Lucas Day, Jacob Day, Kayla Rollin Brunson, Dee Rollin, Mickie Brown and Zoie Vernon and forty-nine great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Melvin Day and Cecil Bush; a brother, Billy Adams and a grandson, Joey Cooper.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Windell Hadley. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 25, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Mikie Brown, Charlie Day, Lucas Day, Zack Day, Greg Day and Josh Day. Honorary pallbearers will be Megan LaShay, Kara Adams, Cody Day, Kayla Brunson, Dee Rollin, Zoie Vernon and Shay Key.
