Shirley Evanne (White) Bryars

Shirley Evanne White Bryars, age 86, a native and resident of Perdido, AL died Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at her residence. She retired from Dental-EZ.

She is survived by one son, Patrick Bryars of Perdido, AL; two grandchildren, Katlin (Cullen) Wilson and Allison Bryars both of Saraland, AL and two great grandchildren, Carlynn Grace Wilson and Lilly Brooks Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Mason Bryars; brothers, Herman, David Frank, Nolan, Willie, Victor, Hamp and Nathan and sisters, Mary Louise Smith, Amelia Huggins, Pauline Smith Plato and Inez White and her parents, Crocket David and Laura Elizabeth Fretwell White.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Hadley officiating. Burial will follow at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 7, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Grissett, Cullen Wilson, Larry Crenshaw, Marty Hadley, Eric Smith and Scotty Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Hicks and Derrick Kraft.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Bryars-McGill Cemetery, c/o Sharon Shiver, 21457 Hoyle Bryars Road, Perdido, AL 36562.
