Sharen Mae Garns, aged 67, passed away on January 15, 2025, in Pensacola, Florida. She graduated as a medical assistant from Capps College of Allied Health Professionals and worked at OneBlood Blood Bank. Known for her kind and gentle nature, Sharen dedicated much of her life to helping others. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting.
She is survived by her sisters, Darlene Lichtenberger of Milton, Florida, and Karen Farber of Lorain, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Garns and Olive Howell Garns, and her beloved cat, Ivory.
Viewing will be held at Norris Funeral Home, 402 East 2nd Street, Bay Minette, Alabama, on Saturday, January 25, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., with a graveside service to follow at 10:30 a.m. at Bay Minette Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the American Cancer Society in her memory.
