Scott Edward Welch

Scott Edward Welch, age 52, born in Atmore, AL and a resident of Perdido, AL passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at his residence. He was a truck driver.

He is survived by his children, Rocky Leon Welch of Perido, AL, Christopher Welch of Perdido, AL, Kayla Elizabeth Welch of DeFuniak Springs, FL and Joshua Welch of Perdido, AL; his father and stepmother, Reverend Joe Edward and Wilma Welch of Bay Minette, AL; sisters, Rhonda Faye (Craig) Dickerson of Silverhill, AL, Lisa Michelle (Dennis) Tyree of Perdido, AL and Theresa Lynn (George) Stewart of Pigeon Forge, TN; stepsister, Tonia Lynn Hicks of Bay Minette, AL; step brother, Tony Randell Hicks of Mobile, AL; his grandmother, Evie T. Welch of Perdido, AL and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Ann Carpenter Welch and a brother, Joey Welch.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 25, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Paul, Jerrett Crysell, Jason Crysell, Hunter Hicks, D.L. Harville. C.J. Hadley and Braden Crysell.
