Sarah Voncile (Meadows) Williams

Sarah Voncile Meadows Williams, age 80, born in Foley, AL and a resident of the Pine Grove Community died Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at her residence. She was a retired cafeteria worker for the Baldwin County Board of Education.

She is survived by her children, Lester Earl (Nelda) Williams of Pine Grove, Brenda (Donnie) Hood of Saraland, AL, Vernae (Don) Flowers of Bay Minette, AL and Shane (Tammy) Williams of Bay Minette, AL; one sister, Barbara Jean Thompson of Pine Grove; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; her caregivers and special friends, Brenda Barnes, Sharon Sanders, Kecia Henry, Lena Tucker and Marilyn Pogue.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hannis Billy Williams; a daughter, Elizabeth Bryars and a sister, Cynthia Carlean Williams.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart and Reverend J.P. Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. The family request that everyone wear a mask.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Kris Haskins, Shannon Haskins, Casey Flowers, Chett Phillips, Gavin Williams, Tyler Williams, Tre Williams, Evan Williams, Billy Williams and Matthew Williams.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Community Hospice and to Mrs. Williams nurses, Kelly, Brittany and Kendall.
