Samuel Lee "Sam" Vernor

Samuel Lee “Sam” Vernor, age 47, born in Fairhope, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Wednesday, April 29, 2026. He was an aircraft mechanic at Segers Aero in Fairhope. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by one brother, David Ray (Crystal) Clemmons of Bay Minette, AL; his favorite niece, Brianna Lipford of Bay Minette, AL; his father, Anthony Roley of Bay Minette, AL and his grandmother, Martha Sue Roley.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Julie Lynn Vernor and his grandparents, Clarence A. Roley, Julius Lee and Faye Vernor and Pat and Tommy Gargus.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Holly Hill Country Club.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to a veteran’s assistance organization of your choice.
