Robert Lee Harris, Sr.

Robert Lee Harris, Sr., age 84, born in Hope Hull, AL and a resident of Grand Bay, AL died Sunday, July 2, 2023 at North Baldwin Infirmary. He was a retired carpenter for the City of Selma and a minister. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Lee (Leatter) Harris, Jr. of Grand Bay, AL and Shandon Wayne Harris of Union Springs, AL; one brother, Roland Harris; one sister, Sylvia Harris of War, AL; daughter-in-law, Allie Harris; grandchildren, Ilishaile Moore, Marthia Harris, Michael Harris, Spanley Harris, Veishale Harris (Harry Edwards, Jr.) Kelly, Jammell Harris, Jr. and Crystal Franklin and great grandchildren, Zayvion Harris, Zayden Harris, Laytan Kelly-Harris, London Edwards and Ny’iah Franklin.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Ann Harris and a son, Jammell Harris, Sr.

Graveside services and burial will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery with Reverend J.P. Lambert officiating.
