Robert Joseph "Bob" Bange

Robert Joseph “Bob” Bange, age 84, born in Quincy, IL and a resident of the White House Community died Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He was a retired manager at Quincy Compressor and a bondsman for Baldwin County Bonding Company. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his children, Jonnie Darnell (David) Shiver of White House Fork, Melanie (Dallas) Chestang of Fairford, AL, John (Debbie) Bange of Lima, IL, Robert J. (Mylene) Bange, Jr. of Terra Hope, IN, David Bange of South Haven, MI, Kim Bange Squires of Ellisville, IL and Leah Bange Brice of IL; two sisters, Sue (Roger) Genenbacher of Shutter, IL and Sally McCarl of Quincy, IL and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Bell Johnson Bange; a son, Michael Thompson; two daughters, Lynn Fretwell and Margaret Lyles; his parents, Clarence Paul and Evelyn Marie Therow Bange and a brother-in-law, Scott McCarl.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Clark Bieler officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 5, 2022 from 12:00 pm. until the 2:30 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Chase Middleton, Todd Goff, James Bradley, Lauren Bounds, Timothy Masters, Jr. and John Bange. Honorary pallbearers will be Evan Goff and Brady Powell.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church, 11513 White House Fork Road Ext., Bay Minette, AL 36507.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Candice Thompson, Community Hospice and the Pastors and members of the White House Pentecostal Holiness Church.
