Richard "Ricky" Lee Hayes

Richard Lee “Ricky” Hayes, age 66, born in Mobile, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Mobile Infirmary. He was a pipefitter and welder supervisor for Plumbers and Steam Fitter Local 119 Mobile.

He is survived by his wife, Jasmin Gala Hayes of Bay Minette, AL; one son, Jessie Lee Hayes of Mt. Pleasant, TN; one daughter, Shelley Hayes (Jason) Roach of Silverhill, AL; one brother, Tim (Gloria) Hayes of Spanish Fort, AL; his parents, Lynn Howard and Peggy Jean Elmore Hayes of Spanish Fort, AL; grandchildren, Ansley Sage Moore, Lily, Christian and Grayson Roach and his former wife, Jean Marie Hilburn Padgett of Silverhill, AL.

He was preceded in death by his second wife, Margaret Parnell Hayes.

Graveside services and burial will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 2, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Bubba Cometti, Ronnie Elmore, Randy Elmore, Mark Seales, Kenny Hayes and Rob Scott. Honorary pallbearer will be Mike Moss.
