Richard Bryant Steele, Sr., age 67, born in Brewton, AL and a resident of White House Fork died Monday, March 16, 2020 at his residence. He was a machinist for 32 years at Quincy Compressor.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Smith Steele of White House Fork; on son, Richard (Anna) Steele, Jr. of Brewton, AL; two daughters, Heather (Chad) Conner of Saraland, AL and Courtney (Patrick) Hicks of Perdido, AL; two brothers, Michael Steele of Brewton, AL and Braxton (Gail) Steele of Sevierville, TN; brother-in-law, Dennis Dobransky of Pensacola, FL; six grandchildren, Devin, Tabitha, Hunter, Brady, Harper and Raegan and special friends, Randall and Angie Allen of White House Fork.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Lucille Carter Steele and two sisters, Ann Pugh and Pat Dobransky.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend J.P. Lambert officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 20, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association 2029 B Airport Blvd., Box 235, Mobile, AL 36606.
