Richard L. Dawson, Jr., age 80, born in Birmingham, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Oakwood Nursing Home.

He is survived by two daughters, Sabrina (Brian) Dawson May of White House Fork and Lea Dawson Borella of Cumming, GA; one brother, Eric (Trease) Dawson, Sr. of Orrville, AL; one sister, Elizabeth “Betsy” Rogers of Birmingham, AL and four grandchildren, Jordan May, Joshua May, Jonathan May and John Kevin Borella.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard L. Dawson, Sr. and Eleanor Strickland Dawson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
