Richard Wayne Davis, age 77, born in Ottumwa, IW and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at his residence. He was a self-employed carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian Hodges Davis of Bay Minette, AL; one daughter, Dawna (Tommy) Ratliff of Spanish Fort, AL; one son, Richard Davis, Jr. of Bay Minette, AL and his grandchildren, Tristan (Arian) Parsons of U.S. Army, Joshua (Emily) Ratliff of Spanish Fort, AL, Caleb (Lucy) Ratliff of Fairhope, AL, Seth Ratliff of Spanish Fort, AL. Eli Ratliff of Spanish Fort, AL, Bethenny Davis of Bay Minette, AL and Owen-Luke Davis of Bay Minette, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Williams and Alma Estice Hamilton Davis and his siblings, Charles Davis, Leonard Davis, Bobby Davis, Gayland Davis and Mary Doty.

In honor of Richard’s wishes, there will be no service held.
