“We say good-bye to our beautiful mother who was kind, patient and soft-spoken, yet as a child of the Depression, extremely strong and resilient. She and our father were reluctant to treat themselves, but were always generous with their time and resources for others. They were devoted to their church, traveling with other volunteers to help in times of crisis, and joining the Sunshine Singers to lift spirits at local nursing homes. Mom was famous for her homemade rolls and loved surprising church staff with a fresh batch of monkey bread. We thank both our parents for the exceptional examples they set.” Jacquie & Mark
