Rayford Mitcheal Bryars

Rayford Mitcheal Bryars, age 88, born in Perdido, AL to the late Herbert and Matilda Bryars, and a resident of Daphne, AL, died Tuesday, January 7, 2025 in Pensacola, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, James Bryars, and his wife of 57 years, Patricia Ann Presley Bryars.  

Rayford will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He retired as an electronics technician with the Federal Aviation Administration and was a veteran of the Alabama Army National Guard. He was a deacon and longtime member of Eastern Shore Baptist Church in Daphne, AL.  

He is survived by his three children, Michael (Christine) Bryars of Springfield, MO, Keith (Lisa) Bryars of Haymarket, VA, and Craig (Karen) Bryars of Spanish Fort, AL, and four grandchildren, William Bryars, Bethany Bryars, Davis Bryars, and Alyssa Bryars.  

The family will receive friends Friday, January 17, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Norris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Pastor Stuart Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
