Ray Ellis Rieben

Ray Ellis Rieben, age 89, a native and resident of the Crossroads Community died Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Oakwood Nursing Home. He was a retired millwright at International Paper Company.

He is survived by his children, Randall R. (Gail) Rieben of Bay Minette, AL, Danial E. (Elaine) Rieben of Clayton, AL, Bobby G. (Tammy) Rieben of Bay Minette, AL and Beverly Ann Rieben Dean of Bay Minette, AL; one sister, June Windham of Pascagoula, MS; nine grandchildren, Chris Rieben, Kim (John) Wiggins, Britney Rieben (Ruaan) Reinke, Lindsey Rieben, Rachael Rieben, Michelle Rieben (Brad) Sasser, Kindell Rieben (Blake) York, Corey (Mollie) Dean and Wesley Dean and seventeen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Durant Chapel with Dr. Henry Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads Church of God Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Durant Chapel for the World Hunger Fund, 9551 Highway 138, Bay Minette, AL 36507.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Metcalf, John Wiggins, Chris Rieben, Brad Sasser, Corey Dean, Wesley Dean, D.J. Rieben and Johnnie Rieben.
