Randolph "Randy" Gideons

Randolph “Randy” Gideons, age 83, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of the Pine Grove Community died Friday, June 26, 2026 at Mobile Infirmary. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Baldwin County Highway Department. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Poppy, Pops, Papa Randy and friend.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kyle G. Durant Gideons of Pine Grove; six children, Blake Richerson of Bay Minette, AL, Lee (Emily) Richerson of White House Fork, Donna (Scott) Lee of Atmore, AL, Dawn Durant of Enterprise, AL, Teri Orem of Crossroads and Lesley (Jason) Stokes of Stapleton, AL; one sister, Eleanor Brandin of River Ridge, LA; grandchildren, Megan, Tyler, Justin, Morgan, Alex, Sara, Kyla, Jacob, Alexis and Levi; eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Gideons; two sisters, Octavia Long and Dorothy Harris and his parents, Elijah Michael and Lucille N. Durant Gideons.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 3, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Moser, Justin Taylor, Alex Stokes, Keegan Biggs, Jacob Lee and Adam Price. Honorary pallbearer will be Levi Richerson.
