Randall Claude Ruple

Randall Claude Ruple, age 77, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 28, 1947 in the Crossroads Community in Bay Minette, AL to W.C. Ruple and Delores Cain Ruple. Randall retired from B.A.E. Shipyard where he was a master welder and the longest serving employee of the company.

Randall was an outdoorsman and gardener. He was a dedicated son, loving brother and super uncle, who told the best stories to all.

He is survived by his sisters, Lorraine Ruple Conrad of Columbia, SC and Ann Ruple Harvey of Hattiesburg, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sue Ruple Ryan.

Randall found great joy in his nieces and nephews and his grand nieces and nephews; Brock Conrad (Katie and Nate), Patricia Harvey Harrod (Chase and Hayden), Max Conrad, Charles Harvey, Kimberly Ryan Pringle (Hanna and Evan) and Ali Ryan Wilkey.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Dewayne Holly officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Brock Conrad, Donnie Harrod, Chase Harrod, Neil Armentrout, Nathan Jones and Earl Crook. Honorary pallbearers will be Max Conrad, Bobby Cain, Jerry Cian, Brent Hart and Terry Richerson.

The family is grateful for the many gestures of kindness expressed to Randall during his extended illness. We would like to acknowledge Tina Atchison for the loving care of our mother and brother throughout the years.
