Rachel Ann (Waldrop) Singleton

Rachel Ann Waldrop Singleton, age 84, a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Crown of North Baldwin. She was a sales associate at Dollar General.

She is survived by four sons, James Clayton (Melanie) Singleton of Foley, Charles Darren Singleton Sr. of Bay Minette, George Wallace (Lisa) Singleton of Bay Minette, John Junior Pipkin of Bay Minette; one sister, Becky Thompkins; ten grandchildren, James W. Singleton, Collin Singleton, A.J. Singleton, Charles Singleton Jr., George Singleton, Ashton Singleton, Logan Singleton, Colby Singleton, Tyler Bright, Morgan Bright; nine great grandchildren, Francesca Singleton, Adlyn O’Neal, Cheyanne Singleton, Victoria Singleton, Samantha Singleton, Piper, Phoebe, Layla and Wesley Singleton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Waldrop Sr. and Willie Sharp; a husband, James Lucious Singleton; a daughter, Donna Sue Singleton Hadley; seven brothers, Virgil “Walt” Waldrop Jr., Jeedee McTaggart, Claude McTaggart, Cecil McTaggart, Cliff McTaggart, Doyle McTaggart, Eugene “Shorty” McTaggart; one sister, Betty Hobbs.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 25,2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 24,2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be A.J. Singleton, J.W. Singleton, Ashton Singleton, Logan Singleton, Collin Singleton and Colby Singleton. Honorary Pallbearers will be George and Charlie Singleton.
