Paul Wayne White, age 80, born in the Crossroads Community and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at his residence. He was a retired Deputy Sheriff with the Baldwin County Sheriff Department. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and also a member of the Bay Minette Masonic Lodge #498.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lois Morrison White of Bay Minette, AL; two daughters, Becky White (Greg) Burt of Crossroads and Angela Crane (Ray) Dorman of Bay Minette, AL; two sons, James Crane of Mobile, AL and Patrick Knight (Chad) Crane of Dawsonville, GA; seven grandchildren, G2 Burt, Amy Burt, Clayton Crane, Hunter Crane, Jordan Crane, Anthony Dorman and Melanie McElhenney and eight great grandchildren, Gracyn, Caston, Cale, Parker, Hagan, Grant, Presleigh and Kinsey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Elizabeth White and his brother, James White.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Henry Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. with military honors and masonic rites rendered.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
