Patrick Leroy Dickerson

Patrick Leroy Dickerson, age 73, born in Clarksdale, MS, moved to Drew , MS and graduated from Drew High School and now residing in Rabun, AL died Monday, August 24, 2020. He was retired from Stringers International in Clarksdale, MS. He also served in the U.S. Army where he was awarded the Bronze Star with “V” device for his actions at Kham Duc, Republic of Vietnam. Pat was a 1968 graduate of Mississippi State University and a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Fadler Dickerson of Rabun; a daughter, Amanda Karen Dickerson (Kenneth) Bradley of Rabun and a grandson, Kenneth Paul “Trace” Bradley, III.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mavis Dickerson and a brother, John A. Dickerson.

Graveside services and burial will be held Friday, August 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at New Providence Baptist Cemetery with Dr. Chip Starnes officiating.
