Patricia Gayle Ringold, 83, of Bay Minette, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Born in Madison County, Tennessee, on May 28, 1941, she was the daughter of James Ruble and Vera Elizabeth Nanney Azbill. Patricia, a retired legal secretary in Madison County, TN, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Patricia was married to Robert G. Ringold, her cherished husband, for 63 years. Their partnership was built on love, laughter, and a shared life full of joy. Their journey took them to many places, building not only a beautiful family but also lasting friendships along the way. Wherever they lived, Patricia made a loving and welcoming home. Eventually, they settled in Bay Minette, Alabama, where Patricia continued to pursue her passions and interests. She was a lifelong fan of Alabama Football, a lover of fine jewelry, a skilled interior decorator, and an enthusiastic aficionado of chocolate. Her warmth and generosity extended far beyond her hobbies, making her an unforgettable presence in the lives of those who knew her.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Robert G. Ringold; one son, Forrest G. (Jill) Ringold of Mobile, AL; her sister, Brenda Ethel (Bill) Wheatley of Pinson, TN; daughter-in-law, Delica Annette Ringold of Lawrenceville, GA; brother-in-law, Bobby Coffman of Pinson, TN; grandchildren, Lillian Patricia Ringold, Elizabeth Claire Ringold, Grace Anne Ringold, Matthew Alexander (Brittany) Ringold, and William Christopher (Emma) Ringold; great-granddaughter, Ruby Aurora Ringold; and numerous nieces and nephews who will dearly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Morgan Ringold; her sister, Janet Azbill Coffman; and her parents, James Ruble and Vera Elizabeth Nanney Azbill.
A memorial service will be held in Patricia’s honor on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Methodist Church in Bay Minette, Alabama, with Reverend Don Hutchinson officiating. A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall, where family and friends are invited to gather and share memories.

Patricia’s legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be greatly missed.
