Pamela June Parker Bitowf, lovingly known as Bambi, age 68, born and raised in Pensacola, FL and a resident of Spanish Fort, AL died Sunday, June 30, 2024 at her residence. She spent her teenage years on the beach at Perdido Key. She was a licensed cosmetologist and worked as a preschool teacher before retiring to travel with her husband. She was a devoted military and law enforcement wife and a devout Christian who loved her church family at New Life Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Steven Charles Bitowf of Spanish Fort, AL; her children, Tamela Shay (Robert) Stewart of White House Fork and Steven Chase (Kayleigh) Bitowf of Bowling Green, KY; one brother, Arnold Howard Parker, Jr. of Foley, AL; three sisters, Sherry Wanda (Chuck) Dement of Foley, AL, Tamela Lynn Brown of Columbiana, AL and Kimberly Shawn Parker of Daphne, AL and two grandchildren, Shelby Annette Stewart and Bayley Alexis Stewart both of White House Fork.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Howard and Gloria June Brown Parker and a brother-in-law, James Edwin Brown.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at New Life Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Paul and Reverend Daniel Simpson officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. service at New Life Baptist Church.
Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast cancer Foundation, 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.
