Otis Ronald Richerson

Otis Ronald Richerson, age 78, born in Stockton, AL and a resident of Bromley died Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at North Baldwin Infirmary. He was a retired Sergeant with the Mobile Police Department after 22 years of service.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Marie Huffman Richerson of Bromley; one son, Ronald W. (Valerie) Richerson of Ekron, KY; one brother, Tom Richerson of Anchorage, AK; two sisters, Madaleen C. Marsala and Kathaleen M. Pittman and six grandchildren, Kandis Brackins, Kenny Lovett, Donnie Ramsey. Britney Wray, Elizabeth Richerson and Noah Richerson.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Lynn Richerson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Richerson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
