Oliver Talmadge Moody, Jr.

Oliver Talmadge "O.T." Moody, Jr., age 80, born in Evergreen, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 16, 2021 with his family by his side.  He was a business development manager and was the owner of Boiler Teck and Diffusion Technology. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he spent his entire military time at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. He was also an active member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bay Minette, where he severed as an Elder. He devoted his life to serving the Lord. He graduated form Vigor High School in 1958 and was also a member of Bay Minette Masonic Lodge #498 where he was a 50 year pin recipient.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Teresa Ann Thompson Moody of Bay Minette, AL; one son, Daniel James (Kellie) Stacy of Chickasaw, AL; three daughters, Sonya (Alfonso) Montemayor of Pleasanton, TX, Michelle (Mike) Jefcoat of Saraland, AL and Melanie (Kaytee Jones) Toomey of Spanish Fort, AL; one brother, Tommy (Marie) Moody of Semmes, AL and four grandchildren, Morgan Cain, Jayden Heathcock, Juliana Heathcock and Ava Grace Stacy.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Leigh Drinkard and his parents, Oliver Talmadge Moody, Sr. and Marjorie Snowden Moody.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Elder Pat and Kay Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile at 3:30 p.m. with Military honors and Masonic services rendered.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. until the 1:30 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
