Norman Holly Brown

Norman Holly Brown, age 90, born in Dora, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Saturday, November 9, 2024 at his residence. He was a retired millwright at Courtaulds. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Korea.

He is survived by his wife, Johnette Laskowski Brown of Bay Minette, AL; his children, Norman Terrance (Terri) Brown of Satsuma, AL and Nancy Lynn (Scott) Mayfield of Hollingers Island; one brother, Lester Olin Brown of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Holly Wright, Jennifer Mayfield and Catherine Scott Chambers; special grandson, Alex Chambers and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Leigh Ann Golabek; two sisters, Mary Uptgrafft and Amanda Carley and his four legged companion, Rocky.

Graveside services and burial will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Brasfield Cemetery in Dora, AL.

In lieu of flowers they family requests memorial contributions be made to the Patriot Guard Riders Mobile Chapter, Attention, Kay Tidwell, 730 Old Big Cove Road, Owens Crossroads, AL 35763.
