Nora Ann Goins, age 80, a resident of the Crossroads Community, died Monday, November 8, 2021. She was affectionately also known as “Mama”, “Mawmaw” Old Grandmaw”, “Nobie”, “Toodalum”. She was born in Canoe, AL to Clarence and Annie Lee Knowles. She was a retired seamstress at Manor Slacks. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, growing and eating hot peppers and telling stories from her past.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Dye of Crossroads and Wendy (Chirs) Henderson of Crossroads; three grandsons, Joe (Vara) Dye of Cantonment, FL, Brent (Jessica) Powell of Modesto, CA and Kane Powell of Crossroads and three great grandchildren, Rissa Dye and Tommy Dye both of Crossroads and Lorali Powell of Modesto, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Aurthur Ray Goins and a son, Tony Fleming.
Per her wish, a graveside service will be scheduled at a later date and will be officiated by J.P. Lambert.
