Nora Lee Johnson Godwin, age 87, born in Stapleton, AL and a resident of the White House Fork Community died Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Mobile Infirmary. She was a retired contract specialist for the Corp of Engineers.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Roy S. Godwin of White House Fork; two sons, Blake R. (Connie) Godwin of Bay Minette, AL and Trenton M. (Tracy) Godwin of Daphne, AL; one brother, Raymond (Linda) Johnson of Pascagoula, MS; one sister, Gloria (Billy) Wallace of White House Fork; four grandchildren, Randi Michelle (Ryan) Bailey, Hanna (Jeremy) Baker, Lauren Godwin and Blake Anthony Godwin and two great grandchildren, Brooke Bailey and Matthew Baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hestle and Lorena Johnson and a brother, Claude Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Reverend Jason Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service at Southside Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 526 Brady Road, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
