Nona Jones Obituary

Nona Pearl Dempsey Jones, age 84, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of the Phillipsville Community died Saturday, October 2, 2021 at North Baldwin Infirmary. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert D. Jones of Phillipsville; two sons, Gene (Jackie) Milstid of Molino, FL and William (Lanell) Jones of San Tan Valley, AZ; grandchildren, Melissa (Travis) Hicks, Michelle (Kirby) Carpenter, Rebecca (Zach) Moorer, Jonathan Jones, Nathaniel Jones and Kathrine Jones; great grandchildren, Keira Hicks, Keith Hicks, Madison Glatfelter, Amanda Garcia, Rachel Carpenter and Carrie Carpenter and great great grandchildren, Alice Nix and Remington Nix.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Bryant Dempsey, Sr. and Pearle Wallace Dempsey; two brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services and burial will be held Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Bay Minette Cemetery with Reverend Judd Coggin and Reverend Pat Poole officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Perdido United Methodist Church.
