Nickey Larry King
Obituary
Nickey King, a native of Corinth, Mississippi and a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, died March 2, 2023, at home after a short illness.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Frank King, his mother, Dorothy Pendley King, and his only sibling, Mikquel King.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Christi Zarr King; daughter Lauren Wallace of Birmingham; son Nathan King of Niceville, Florida, and two step-children, Caroline Massey of Orange Beach, and Bucky Page of Salem, Alabama, and 10 grandchildren.
King is a graduate of Clarksdale Coahoma High School in Clarksdale, MS, and attended Mississippi Delta Junior College before graduating Mississippi State University with a degree in Marketing and Physics. He also studied Health Administration at Northwestern University.
Nick began his career in banking before transitioning to detailing for Proctor and Gamble. He later had a successful career as a Sales Manager for GE Medical Asia in Singapore and Hong Kong. Nick fully retired as CEO and President of Ultra Care of Georgia, Inc in 2019.
King’s Celebration of Life service will be held at First Methodist Bay Minette on Sunday, March 12. Visitation is at 1:00pm, followed by the service at 2pm. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
