Obituary

Ned Newman Brannan, age 79, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Monday, May 2, 2022 at U.S.A. Medical Center. He retired from International Paper Company after 45 years as a machine operator.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Lee Smith Brannan of Bay Minette, AL; two daughters, Dee Christine (Lee) Brannan Troy of Hiawassee, GA and Skipper Lee Brannan of Bay Minette, AL; one sister, Jackie (Buddy) Yarbrough of Bay Minette, AL; sister-in-law, Emily Brannan of Stockton, AL and one grandchild, Winnie Troy of Hiawassee, GA.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Ted Brannan and a sister, Anna Catherine Vines.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Minister Jerry Childs officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne Vines, Dylan Vines, David Linder, Blake Linder, Mark Brannan and Mike Yarbrough.
