Nancy Louise Howell Baker, age 78, born in Jeffersonville, IN and a resident of Perdido, AL died Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at her residence. She was a former husband and wife team truck driver/homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Baker of Perdido, AL; one son, John C. Baker of Perdido, AL; three daughters, Tina Louise (Gopher) McKinley of Perdido, AL, Dawn Lynn (Joe) Hadley of Perdido, AL and Gabrielle Lillian (Chilo) Guerrero Mendieta of Perdido, AL; one brother, Mike (Sherry) Howell of Auburndale, FL; four sisters, Sherry Shearn of Ashland, PA, Sue (Ron) Carroll of Deputy, IN, Kay (Bruce) Merriam of Scottburg, IN and Doris Howell of Bay Minette, AL; six grandchildren, Laura Albesa, Jacob Pittman, Randall Allen, Timmy Joe Hadley, Jesse Pittman and Cheyanne Guerrero and four great grandchildren, Carlos Respress, Nalanie Albesa, Kingston Bible and Amelia Pittman.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ethel Louise Howell, father John Auther Howell, and 3 brothers , John Howell Jr., Robert Lee Howell (killed in Vietnam) and William Roy Howell
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 3, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Gopher McKinley, Chilo Guerrero Mendieta, Tim Roberts, Timmy Joe Hadley, C.J. Hadley and Denver Tyree. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Bible and Alex Tyree.
