Myron Douglas Yarbrough

Myron Douglas Yarbrough, age 71, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Monday, July 22, 2019 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. He was a retired Road Crew Supervisor for the Baldwin County Highway Department. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Christine L. McGhee Yarbrough of Bay Minette, AL; his children, Douglas Yarbrough (Carla) Kennedy of Mobile, AL, Robin Yarbrough (Kris) Stewart of Bratt, FL, Christopher (Christie) Stewart of Atlanta, GA and Blakely Thomas (Misty) Yarbrough of Perdido, AL; one brother, Nolan (TJ) Yarbrough of Bay Minette, AL; grandchildren, Travis Douglas Kennedy, Rachael Morgan Kennedy, Kole Stewart, Maggie Stewart, Hayden Stewart, Brooklyn Stewart, Hunter, Paizley, River and Jasper Yarbrough and two great grandchildren, Joseph Havard and Jude Hawk Kennedy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Yarbrough; his mother, Alice R. Duffee; stepfather, Pete Duffee and his sister, Marilyn Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Jason Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Pilots for Christ, P.O. Box 707, Monroeville, AL 36461.

Pallbearers will be Kris Stewart, Travis Kennedy, Michael Smith, Chester Boutwell, Kole Stewart and Arnold Johnson. Alternate will be Gary McDonald.
