Mildred Esther (Presley) Stewart

Mildred Esther Presley Stewart was born on February 12, 1933 and passed away on May 24, 2026 at the age of 93.

She was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie A. Presley; her mother, Emma Eddins Presley; step-mother Cleo Presley, her beloved husband, Reverend Drew Stewart; her daughter, Theretha Ainsworth; her son-in-law, James Lassiter; and her grandson, Raymond Ainsworth. Her brothers, James “Snooks” Presley, J.D. Presley, Fred Presley, and Preston McGhee;

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Glenis Lassiter and Drusilla Stacks (Charles) of Bay Minette; her sister, Joyce (Woody) Lassitter of Maysville, NC; her grandchildren, Retha Jean (Chris) Hilliard, Barry (Michele) Ainsworth of Greenville, Michael Stacks, and Ashley Stacks of Bay Minette; her great-grandchildren, Ethan Hilliard, Chandler (Matthew) Gunter, and Cody Ainsworth; and her great-great-grandchildren, Mason Branum, Steyr Hilliard, and Madison Hilliard, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with reverend Windell Hadley and Reverend Michael Hadley officiating. Burial will follow at Presley Cemetery in Lottie.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Clarence Lassitter, Tommy Lassitter, John Johnson, Will King, Gary Crawford and Joshua Mays.

Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
