Maxine (Free) Harville

Maxine Free Harville, age 75, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Oakwood Nursing Home. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Lewis Steven (Sandy) Harville of Bay Minette, AL; one daughter, Norma Jean (Mike) Kirkland of Grandy Bay, AL; two brother, James (Lynn) Greek of Bay Minette, AL and Paul Knight of Satsuma, AL; four sisters, Linda Hulbert, Judy Boyington, Glend Owens and Carolyn Foxworth all of Bay Minette, AL; eight grandchildren, Hailey Simpson, Korrina Cox, Levynn Harville, Kingston Harville, Luke Harville, Jessie Harville, Layla Harville and Phineas Harville and three great grandchildren, Ava Simpson, D.C. Hall and Asher Simpson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Harville; a brother, Larry Greek; a sister, Brenda Workman and a grandson, Allen Cox, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Dale Bennett and Reverend Sammy Thomley officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
