Mary Victoria "Vicky" (Robertson) McDaniel

Mary Victoria “Vicky” Robertson McDaniel, age 77, born in Mobile, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Sunday, July 18, 2021 at her residence. She was a retired teacher and counselor at Baldwin County High School.

She is survived by her children, Cydney McDaniel Halliday of Mobile, AL and Stephen Myles McDaniel of Bay Minette, AL; two brothers, Robert Fyfe “Bob” (Martha) Robertson of Bay Minette, AL and James Arthur “Jimmy” (Francoise) Robertson, Sr. of Evans, GA and two grandchildren, Jennings Weatherford Halliday and Stella Elizabeth Halliday.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gherlin J. McDaniel and a brother, Alfred Gary Lewis.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Chip Starnes officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at the First Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Hayne Dukes, Richard Sullivan, Jim Jordan, Anthony DeLafosse, Shannon DeLafosse, Will Lyles, Trey Easely, Myles Reed, Chad Moylneux, Will Parker, Brian Kendrick and Charles Gary "Chip" Dukes, Jr.

The family would like to thank her nurse Angela Cain, Amedisys Home Health and Kindred Palliative Care for the care of Mrs. McDaniel.
