Mary (Higdon) Hammond

Mary Higdon Hammond, age 83, born in Evergreen, AL and a resident of Stockton, AL died Monday, September 25, 2023 at her residence. She was a retired manager of the toy department at K-Mart.

She is survived by her husband, Terry E. Hammond; her children, Terry Keith Hammond, Angela Hammond Vines and Shawn E. (Margaret) Hammond; three brothers and a number of grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Owen Hammond, her parents; five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Bryars officiating. Burial will follow at Stockton Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 29, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
