Mary Lou (Hamilton) Bumpers

Mary Lou Hamilton Bumpers, age 76, born in Hattiesburg, MS and resident of Stockton, AL died Saturday, January 27, 2024 at her residence. She was a retired Registered Nurse and had worked for area hospitals and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama in case management.

She is survived by her husband, James Carl Bumpers of Stockton, AL; her children, Andrea Denise (Thomas) Satterfield of Stockton, AL and David Brian (Melissa) Bumpers of Mobile, AL and three grandchildren, James Satterfield, Skyler Bumpers and Lily Bumpers.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Stockton First Baptist Church with Reverend Otis Thames officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Stockton First Baptist Church Building Fund, 52700 State Highway 59, Stockton, AL 36579.
