Martha (Varner) Weaver

Martha Varner Weaver, age 63, born in Perdido, AL and a resident of Crossroads died Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at her residence. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Lum D. Weaver, Jr. of Bay Minette, AL, Cecil L. (Tina) Weaver of Rabun, AL and David C. Weaver of Crossroads; seven sisters; three brothers; grandchildren, Jonathan L. (Kristin) Weaver, Patrick Weaver, Cody Weaver, Levi Weaver, Brooklyn Weaver, Addison Weaver and Bailey Weaver and one great grandson, Trenton Weaver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ether Varner and Montez Sowell Varner; her husband, Lum D. Weaver; a son, Scotty Joe Weaver; two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Fretwell Tabernacle Church with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads Cemetery.

A wake will be held Friday, September 27, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service on Saturday at Fretwell Tabernacle Church.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Hinman, George Anderson, Robert Hinman, Lee Williamson, Devin Bryars and Charlie Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Mikey Anderson and John Bartley.

Although the family will accept flowers they suggest memorial contributions be made to Fretwell Tabernacle Church c/o Sister Helen Stewart, 56333 Jerry Stewart Road, Perdido, AL 36562.
