Martha Anne (Brookens) Lamkin

Martha Anne Lamkin, age 79, born in Pensacola, FL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Friday, April 30, 2021 at her residence. She was the secretary for 30 years at Pine Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by three brothers, Jimmy, Joey and Louie; three grandchildren, DeWayne Lamkin, Stephanie Lamkin and Kimberly Lamkin and three great grandchildren, Tiera Nordan, D.J. Lamkin and Luke Lamkin.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Charles Edward Lamkin.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Grant Dykes officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be DeWayne Lamkin, D.J. Lamkin, Davey Lamkin, Gerald Malone, Gary Roundtree and Steve Tremmel. Honorary pallbearer will be Luke Lamkin.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
