Margaret Edwina Davis Cox, age 74, a native of the Crossroads Community and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Friday, March 12, 2021 at Mobile Infirmary. She worked on the mirror line at Standard Furniture.
She is survived by her children, Monya Hodges (Charlie) McDonald of Barnwell, SC, Russell Ray (Renia) Hodges of Barnwell, SC, Tracey Hodges (Earl) Griffin of Boise, ID, Alton Wallace of Crossroads, Alfred (Crissia) Wallace of Crossroads and Bubba Roberts of CA; three brothers, Carlton Elijah Davis of White House Fork, Joseph Eugene Davis of Crossroads and John Wiley Davis of White House Fork; one sister, Patricia Louise Howard of Pine Grove; twenty grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her children, Michael Dewayne “Boo” Stewart, Veronica “Pedie” Floyd and Stacey Hodges; sisters, Mary Williams and Emily Ann Goram and brothers, Obie Davis, Buster Davis and Jerry Davis.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 15, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 15, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until the 3:30 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Boyington, Austin Kirby, Shane Wilson, Kevin Richerson, Michael Worley and Glen Shipp.
Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial contributions be made to Fretwell Tabernacle Church.
