Lois Marie Morrison White, age 84, passed away peacefully at her residence, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 12, 1941, in Loree, Alabama, she was the daughter of Warner and Panda Morrison.
Lois lived a life marked by quiet strength, steadfast faith, and a deep devotion to those she loved. She dedicated 28 years of service to the Baldwin County Commission Office, working in Accounts Payable with diligence and integrity. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Bay Minette.
Lois found joy in the simple, meaningful rhythms of daily life-tending to her flowers, gardening, yardwork, preparing home-cooked meals, and preserving the fruits or her labor through canning and baking. Her hands nurtured not only her home but the hearts of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul White; her parents, Warner and Panda Morrison; and her siblings, Christine Morton, Francis Harper, William “Bill” Morison, Robert Morrison, Rabon Morrison, Dorothy Smith and Dale Morrison.
Lois is loving remembered by her children, Angela (Ray) Crane Dorman of Bay Minette, AL, James Crane of Mobile, AL, Patrick (Chad) Knight-Crane of Mobile, AL and Becky (Greg) Burt of Bay Minette, AL. She was the proud grandmother of Clayton (Kyndall) Crane, Anthony (Melissa) Dorman, Melanie McElhenney, Hunter Crane, Jordan (Jeremy) Johnson, Amy (Eric) Stewart and G2 Burt. Her legacy continues through her great grandchildren, Caston, Cale, Parker, Presleigh, Kinsey, Hagan, Grant, Katie, Gracyn and Dutton.
Also surviving is her brother, Woody Morrison of Mobile, AL; her sister, Mattie Peavy of Monroeville, AL; two sisters-in-law, Shelby Morrison of Auburn, AL and Dolores Morrison of Bay Minette, AL, as well as many cherished nieces, nephews and her children’s father, Albert B. Crane.
