Lloyd David Whittington

Lloyd David Whittington, age 64, born in Atmore, AL and a resident of Lottie died Monday, July 27, 2026 at Springhill Memorial Hospital. He was a machine operator at Quincy Compressor.

He is survived by his children, Kevin Bradley Whittington of Georgia and Kristen Ashley Whittington Howell of Slidell, LA; three sisters, Becky (Rodney) Boyington of Lottie, Lynn (David) Bishop of Fairhope, AL and Sandra Whittington of Robertsdale, AL; his cousin, Anissa (Darrell) Ledkins of Lottie and three grandchildren, Zoey Banks, Jaxon Howell and Eliana George.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Samuel and Carolyn Elizabeth Bell Whittington and a brother, Steve Whittington.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 31, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Lee Harville officiating. Burial will follow at Lottie New Home Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 31, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Ledkins, Brent Ledkins, Jarrett Crysell, Cagan Crysell, Tristan holt and Jerry Johnson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
